Less than ten minutes drive across the River Dee from Banchory, Scolty Woodland Park forms the eastern end of the long forest of Blackhall. This wood has four way marked walks as well as lots of small paths. Scolty Wood is public woodland managed by Forest Enterprise Scotland with the help of the local community, through Scolty Woodland Park Association.
